    Description
    The Department of Biology at Ball State University invites applications for a fixed term(non-tenure) faculty position in Biology for the 2024-2025 Academic Year.
    Minimum Qualifications
    Earned doctorate in biological sciences or related field from an accredited college or university by date of appointment; effective written and oral communication skills; commitment to excellence in teaching; and competency in current research concepts and approaches.
    Authorization to work in the US Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
    Preferred Qualifications
    Demonstrated teaching ability in biology using student-centered learning techniques; Evidence of teaching ability, as demonstrated by student or peer evaluation summaries. Evidence of scholarly activity, as demonstrated by publications.

    Pre-Employment Screening Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.
