Agnes Scott offers you experiential opportunities combined with academic discussion that will serve to strengthen your liberal arts education. Internships are a popular option at Agnes Scott with most students participating in numerous off-campus opportunities. SpARC (Spring Annual Research Conference) Agnes Scott holds this conference each April to provide students and faculty with an opportunity to present their collaborative and independent research to the campus community. Atlanta Semester Program The Atlanta Semester provides a theoretical and applied examination of women, leadership and social change in the context of Atlanta, a city that has long been identified with progressive change. Hubert Scholars Program Hubert Scholars combine experiential learning with humanitarian service either at home or abroad. Past Hubert Scholars have conducted HIV/AIDS research in South Africa and traveled to Mongolia and Tanzania. Kemper Scholars Program Are you interested in a career in business or administration? As a first-year, you can apply for the Kemper Scholars Program to receive a scholarship for your sophomore, junior and senior years as well as project stipends for two summers and a non-profit internship in Chicago during your sophomore summer. Public Leadership Education Network (PLEN) Are good leaders born or made? Discover for yourself at Agnes Scott, which is a member of PLEN (Public Leadership Education Network), a consortium of women’s colleges that prepares women for public leadership roles. Students have opportunities to study the process of public policy with women leaders in Washington, D.C.
